The Shrewsbury River navigational channel under the Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge will be completely closed to all marine traffic from 6:00 a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024.
The US Coast Guard (USCG) approved the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 schedule for full and half channel closures necessary for installation of the new bridge spans. Please see the Public Notice for all full and half closure dates.
The channel will be open at full width (75 feet) on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15, 2024.
Dates are subject to change based on weather conditions and production factors.
