Eastern Half of Channel Available for Marine Travel – Update 12/13/24

The eastern side of the navigational channel under the bridge remains open for marine travel with the following conditions:

The horizontal clearance has been reduced to 35 feet at the roadway level. The anticipated end date for this reduced width is 1/24/25.
Below the roadway level, the horizontal clearance on the eastern side remains at 37.5 feet.

Dates are subject to change based on weather conditions and production factors. Any schedule changes or impacts to river and roadway traffic will continue to be posted to the Travel Advisory page of this website.

The US Coast Guard (USCG) approved the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 schedule for full and half channel closures necessary for installation of the new bridge spans. Please see the Public Notice Update – 11/8/24 for anticipated full and half closure dates.
